AWS | Solutions Architect | Leeds | £500/d | Inside IR35 | 4 Months | Remote OptionsMy client in Leeds is looking for a Solutions Architect to join their growing team on a contractual basis.You will facilitate the delivery of high-quality software regularly, repeatedly and predictably using a metric driven approach to continuous improvement.As a Solutions Architect, you are passionate about technology and will keep abreast of developments within the market, industry and technology landscape. You'll be working with a very talented team of tech leads, engineers, product, commercial and marketing specialists who love what they do - and we expect no less from you.You should have an insatiable appetite for learning new things and improving existing ones. If you're the right one for us, you pay attention to details and take great pride in your work. Key responsibilitiesTo enable product delivery by providing high level technical designs, roadmaps and impact assessments which have been shared and agreed with the appropriate stakeholders within the business.Govern delivery by acting as the design authority during design/build/release, making sure that all areas have been considered (e.g., functional,. non-functional, security/compliance, etc) and design documentation exists and is accurate.Empower and help both in-house software delivery teams to make sensible technology choices, and advise on approaches that achieve both the functional and non-functional goals.Act as a subject matter expert being able to understand the overall solution requirements and suggest alternatives to better the solution and alleviate the challenges being addressed.Provide high-level feedback and feasibility/ball-park effort required to technically achieve a business objective, and work with the Head of Architecture and/ or Principle Architect to keep such activity within the bounds of the overall technology strategy.
