The RoleWe have several Senior Principle Controller vacancies based at our Farnborough and Salisbury sites. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality project controls on complex projects or programmes, under the leadership of a Project or Programme Manager, or within the function.The role's key purpose is to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and consistency of project control across the business, and will be required to act as leader within the function with line management responsibility of up to 6 individuals.- Delivery of the project and programmes controls outputs, to agreed standards in support of customer satisfaction, time, cost, quality, cash and sales. - Ensuring project controls team members operate in line with the Operating Framework & functional competency requirements. - Maintenance of all appropriate reporting needs in support of project and programme delivery. - Application of governance requirements in support of the delivery business (including life-cycle, project & independent reviews). RequirementsEducated to degree level or equivalent experience in Project Controls, operating within a Project Management Office environment or similar.

Competence against the agreed Project controls Competency Framework at a level of Practitioner or APMP Practitioner Certificate desirable.

Experience of working in a matrix management organisation is desirable.Understanding and knowledge of P3M is desirable.Experience in Stakeholder management across a Business Unit and the wider corporate business. Technical/Engineering/Projects background to understand the overall needs of the Business unit is desirable.
