Lead Java Developer / Software Engineer. Are you a senior Java Developer looking to progress your career to a lead role whilst remaining hands-on?

You could be joining a global Commodities Trading platform and making a real impact. As a Lead Java Developer you'll design and develop key improvements and new features to the core trading platform with a focus on serverside components. You'll partner with the CTO and play a lead role within a small, highly talented team, allowing you to have influence on key design / architectural decisions. There's a modern technology stack including Java, microservices, RESTful services, Spring, SpringBoot and Hibernate.

Requirements:

*Java design and development experience across the full development lifecycle

*Experience with Spring, SpringBoot, microservices, RESTful services and Hibernate (or other ORM)

*Strong knowledge of computing fundamentals such as Design Patterns, Object Orientated Programming

*Experience with Unit testing (JUnit), TDD / BDD, Cucumber / Gherkin

*Ideally you will also have experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity; Build tools such as Maven and Gradle

*Collaborative with strong communication skills
