Founded over 50 years ago, this company have grown from a regional housebuilder to a massive developer operating across a network of over 35 divisions.This Assistant Quantity Surveyor role will mostly be based out of my client's Southern office, with weekly travel to sites across Hampshire and Dorset. Working alongside a Senior QS, you will assist with commercial and surveying responsibilities for large scale traditional build housing schemes, some in excess of 200 units. Not only will you be enrolled in a top-quality development programme you will also be personally trained and mentored by experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with decades of experience under their belt. Requirements for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor positionPrevious experience working for a developer or main contractorExperience working on new build projects with exposure to JCT form of contract.Experience working on residential projects will be advantageousGood knowledge of the construction industry processes and procedures.Qualified to HND level or higherExcellent oral and written communication skills.Must have at least 1+ years UK experience working as an Assistant / Trainee Quantity Surveyor What's on offer for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor position£30,000 - £40,000 per annum.
