Ideally, you've been part of teams that have built exciting PaaS and/or SaaS products in your previous roles and loved the satisfaction that comes with knowing that people around the world are using something you've created.About the OpportunityOperational automation, testing, and performance improvement is critical to the success of this clients solutions. They are looking to expand the team with software developers that can advance not only the functionality of the platform, but also keep a strong focus on the operational challenges around keeping their solutions reliable they evolve.ActivitiesWork directly with development, product managers, sales teams and end customers, with responsibility for the discovery and documentation of business requirements.Research, experiment, prototype new software technologies and concepts to improve their solutions (e.g. Artificial Intelligence, IoT, BlockChain, Big Data / Analytics, Microservices architecture, DevSecOps, etc.)Build test infrastructures using containerization technologies such as Docker and work within continuous delivery / continuous release pipeline processes.Testing enterprise applications deployed to cloud environments such as AWS/Google/Azure As the successful candidate, you will be working closely with developers as they develop code to ensure requirements are being met and to the correct quality. You will conduct automated (and manual tests where necessary) to ensure the software created is fit for purpose. During testing you will be thinking "outside of the box" to understand the various scenarios and configurations that customers use to ensure customer quality is maintained and, through doing so, drive regression testing across the products. You will be responsible for defining and driving innovative automated testing strategies and toolsets into our overall processes, to support and enhance the current Quality Assurance processes.RequirementsStrong testing background expected and strong understanding of Testing best practices Understanding of QA practices in terms of test plans and their executions Experience working on product that deploys to on-premise VMWare based environments through to exposure and experience of working on product deployed as a Service.Experience in writing, executing and monitoring automated test suites using a variety of technologies including, but not limited to, Ansible, Cucumber, Selenium, SoapUIJefferson Frank Our mission is simple: we want happy customers.
