IT Systems Engineer - Leicester - - £30,000 - £35,000

Technologies you will work with in this position - Windows OS, SCCM, Office 365, Active Directory, Windows 7 /10, day to day support.

Established and well know company are seeking an IT Systems Engineer for their IT Services team. Working as a key player alongside a broader team you will support the Infrastructure Services Team in the development and implementation of team, departmental and business wide service improvements, plus the input of planning and technical remediation initiatives.

Including a mix of BAU and Project work, your key tasks will involve supporting and planning, scheduling and implementing all Change Requests and Maintenance activities for the team as well as on-going Root Cause Analysis.

Your key requirements will include:Experience in the BAU, Shared Services or Commercial IT Services operationConfident in fault diagnosis across technologies & platforms and experience of rectifying faults within strict SLAsExtensive experience in the monitoring and maintenance of internal IT systems platformsConfiguring and maintaining monitoring tools and systemsKnowledge and experience across maintenance tool sets (e.g. SCCM, WSUS)Experience operating in a change control and configuration management environmentAbility to competently act as the technical point contact of escalation for incidentsThe ability to Investigate potential future technologies and solutions that may benefit the IT and hosting, storage or operating system estateExperience of using Time Recording and Service Management Toolsets (e.g. ServiceNow, Remedy, LANDesk, WorkFront, etc)Experience of managing and maintaining anti-virus servers and solutions.Windows Server experience or certification in areas including AD, Group Policy
