We are looking for an exceptional cyber security consultant to join our rapidly growing team in London where you will be joining a team of like-minded experts who are helping us to make tomorrow work better today.The successful cyber security consultant will be providing expert technology risk assessment, analysis & advice to public sector, central government & commercial clients in sectors such as critical infrastructure, defence, finance & telecommunications. You will be part of our specialist cyber and intelligence group and alongside your advisory services as a security consultant we also provide security testing, protecting monitoring & applied information analysis.This is an excellent environment with a flatter organisational structure where you will be encouraged to develop your own career in cyber security to the highest level and work within our team of globally renowned experts. The ideal cyber security consultant will have demonstrable commercial experience of cyber security consulting ideally within a globally recognised defence organisation & consulting/systems integrator that have a large presence within central government or national defence. It will be your responsibility work with our FTSE100 & Fortune 500 clients to identify & respond to cyber threats & security risks which might have an impact on our clients business.You will conduct risk assessment, analysis or audits in either cyber security or information assurance, you will work collaboratively with our global cyber security professional team to define and deliver solutions. You will translate our customers' complex business requirements and translate them into risk assessments, reviews & documentations. Finally you will apply our world class information assurance methodologies & analysis frameworks across a range of scenarios. You will be required to constantly think on your feet and adapt to a dynamic working environment. Cyber security threats can come in any shape at any time so you will need to be in a position to detect them as soon as possible and recommend the most appropriate action to take.In reward for your services, we are offering a base salary up £40,000 - £50,000 with a 12% bonus & 6% non-contributory so you do not even have to contribute anything for us to pay in 6%. Throughout your time here we will support you with constant training & development with a dedicated careers programme. The ideal cyber security consultant will be required to have the following experience:Requirements:Commercial experience in a consulting environmentStrong business acumen, an ability to communicate across all areas of the businessA deep understanding of the cyber security challenges faced by organisationsDemonstrable commercial experience of identifying security risk & familiarity with common control frameworksExceptional interpersonal skills as well as both written, verbal & presentation skillsAn ability to prioritise workload, work well under pressure and concurrently management both our & our customers expectationsSo what are you waiting for?
