Azure DevOps Engineer - Hampshire- Award winning business / Microsoft Gold Partner / £50,000 - £70,000 Are you a dynamic, smart and forward thinker? If so then my Hampshire based IaaS client has something pretty special on offer as they are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the team. This role falls heavily on the development side so a background in Microsoft web technologies is a must and will get your foot in the door on this one. Have a look below to see what your day to day would look like and see if you think you would be a good fit. Your role? You will work closely within the operations team, primarily working on the development of new automation features whilst also working on maintaining the current platform and dealing with escalated support issues. You will work as part of the team in making all the processes fully automated whilst maintaining the state of the current platform and troubleshooting issues. Your own development is just as important though so opportunity to grow and cross train is at hand, this role will see you grow into an even more senior profile within the business and really achieve the goals you set out with your manager upon joining the business. What experience is best fit for this role? I need you to a bit of a superstar developing in the following: C# with the .Net Framework (+core) .You should have solid experience of working on the Azure cloud platform with proven results in developing solutions.Strong knowledge of Powershell ScriptsProven experience of using Microsoft Azure is a must and very critical for this roleWorld class comm's (Oral and written)Understanding of deployment/release technologies such as Octopus Deploy. If you can bring to the table any additional knowledge of other opensource web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML & Angular then you will get bonus points. SQL would also be advantageous so don't forget to mention on your application if you have this.
