Support Engineer/Technical Support/2nd Line/Second Line Support/Application Support/Software Engineer/IT System Support/Systems Analyst/Helpdesk/IT Support Type: Fixed TermLocation: Hursley / WinnershSalary: £25k-£30k per annum Support Engineer/Technical Support/2nd Line/Second Line Support/Application Support/Software Engineer/IT System Support/Systems Analyst/Helpdesk/IT Support A Support Engineer required to join a multinational company specializing in security and identity solutions on a Fixed Term basis of 12 months. Main duties and responsibilitiesProvide technical support and maintenance on company productsEnsure full adherence to the SLARespond to customer needs relevant to Morpho's contractual responsibilitiesAct as the main point of contact for all on-site support requestsPerform daily system checks and monitoring.Produce various internal and external monthly reportsAct as point of contactEscalation key point and coordinator of any incident resolutionOccasional out of hours support cover during major system release updatesReview and update procedures and documentationSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in a similar application support environmentGood IT administrator skill set on Linux (Red Hat based flavours) and Windows SystemsSome knowledge of Oracle (constructing and running queries) would be of advantageA proactive approach to system administration and support functionsThe ideal candidate will be self-driven, results orientated, and a strong communicator.
