They supply to a number of the largest suppliers within the UK and are seeing on going sales growth. Due to an internal promotion they are now looking to take on a Packaging Quality Technologist to join the team.In this role the successful candidate will share responsibility for food safety and quality across the whole site. You will report directly to the Quality Manager in this autonomous position overseeing the process and packaging departments. You will be required to liaise with suppliers, warehousing, production and maintenance to ensure that all procedures are in place for compliance with customer specifications and legislation.This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leading company that can offer a long term career with stepping stones into more senior roles within the group.The Role:

*Oversee the process and packaging quality

*Working with suppliers and internal departments to ensure all products are compliant with legislation

*Assist all major audits

*Promoting food safety and quality standards throughout the companyThe Person:

*Background in Quality

*Food, Pharmaceutical or Packaging experience
