Infrastructure Solutions Team Leader / Infrastructure Project Lead - Skype/Lync/Office365, LAN/WAN, MS Exchange, leadership and Client Management As the Infrastructure Solutions Team Leader / Infrastructure Project Lead with skills such as Skype/Lync/Office365, LAN/WAN, MS Exchange, leadership and Client Management. You will be responsible for team leading & day to day project delivery of the Infrastructure Project team in an IT shared service environment for a global organisation with a large variety of both internal & customer projects. You'll be the key client interface, provide line management & direction to a small team with an advisory responsibility for operations. As the Infrastructure Solutions Team Leader / Infrastructure Project Lead you will have responsibility for ongoing remedial & improvement programmes with participation in project activities & assisting in 3rd line support when required so you need to understand & visualise the entire infrastructure portfolio & co- ordinate change. Who are we looking for? With your experience built up over a career in IT you'll have a background in infrastructure & technology, maybe you're not hands on now but you'll have a good appreciation of technical issues in an IT infrastructure enterprise environment with the ability to troubleshoot & support complex support issues down to the desktop. You will also be analytical and able to use your initiative, have a proactive approach & can-do attitude. You really enjoy working in a collaborative team, solving problem and customer focussed so you can deliver quality IT services. Your strong communication & interpersonal skills are key so you can build rapport with staff & customers at all levels. Flexibility & adaptability are important due to the varied nature of the work. Also you will have strength in project management from a customer facing technical IT environment, able to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, lead & manage technical people at all levels. If you have any experience in the following desirable skills then so much the better, but remember they are not essential: technical specialism in a core infrastructure technologies, networking (LAN & WAN), mail systems (MS Exchange), designing IT infrastructure solutions, working in a multi-cultural & ideally global organisation & a second language.
