Senior Web Developer / Technical Lead (Vanilla JavaScript OOP React AWS). Are you a senior Web Developer looking to remain hands-on and progress your career; taking ownership, making technology choices and leading others?

You could be joining a scale-up technology company whose strategic software solutions enable energy companies to modernise their networks and achieve increasingly demanding sustainable energy targets.

As the Senior Web Developer you will take ownership of the complete re-build of the client side of the core energy monitoring platform you'll be working with a modern microservices environment and will have freedom to make the technology choices working with JavaScript and whichever frameworks you recommend. You'll work with your team to identify any necessary architectural changes to support quality, performance, availability and versatility, providing technical leadership and direction whilst remaining hands-on.

You'll be based in a collaborative team environment in Cambridge.

Requirements:

Strong vanilla JavaScript OO design and development experience

Good knowledge of JavaScript frameworks e.g. React

Experience working within Agile teams supported by CI/CD pipelines

Working knowledge of AWS

Collaborative and pragmatic, keen to share knowledge and lead others

As a Senior Web Developer you will earn a competitive salary (to £85k) plus benefits.
