Data Architect - Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Dynamics CRM, Dynamics 365, Office 365 (O365), Power BI, TOGAF, ITIL, Prince2I'm currently recruiting for a Data Architect for an initial 6 month contract, with possibility of extension thereafter. The role is paying between £500 and £700 per day and is OUTSIDE IR35.

The client currently have a large and complex estate of applications, some of which are very old and need migrating, some of which just need integrating with others. Additionally they are part-way through a major Office 365 implementation currently and so everything is moving towards Azure and Office 365 platforms and products, however some specific systems are likely to remain and just need to be integrating and communicating with other systems. As an example they are using an industry specific CRM which has a very limited shelf life left on it and so are in the process of moving to Dynamics CRM as well as Dynamics 365, but this will need to integrate with various legacy systems.

There is currently little to no understanding of data definitions and building this knowledge will be key, so they are looking at system profiling and investigating how systems currently talk to each other (if at all) and how to improve this moving forwards as well as the knock on effects of changes and how this would impact licencing and if some need to be "end of lifed".

Skillset / Experience

- Strong professional Data Architecture experience

- Experience of integrating legacy systems

- Azure: Data Factory / Data Lake / Databricks / Data Warehouse etc

- Power BI

- SQL Server and Oracle

- Office 365 (O365) especially Dynamics 365 & Dynamics CRM

- Relevant TOGAF / ITIL / Prince2 qualifications would be desirable
