Business Intelligence Manager - Fulltime/Permanent - £70k to £80k - Power BI Analytics - DevOps - Birmingham

A leading FTSE250 organisation are looking to make Business Intelligence a centre of excellence, and are looking to hire a forward thinking, talented Business Intelligence manager to head up their analytics practice

The successful candidate will be overseeing the development and deployment of the enterprise data and analytics platform, whilst supporting senior management and financial/ business analysis to establish the vision for managing data as a business asset

Responsibilities

- ?Act as the BI Platform SME, supporting the business and financial analysts in building, maintaining and enhancing the analytical insight capability

- Create and Innovate analytics solutions to bring data in line with modern Bi platforms and establish a real time data analytics facility

- Facilitate a DevOps approach to ensure that BI Platform provides effective, real-time quality insights

Skillsets/Technical competencies

- Creating complex Power BI , Power Queries, analytical reports and insights

- Experience of standard database and data architecture

- Experience of data integration technologies such as SQL Services, Dell Boomi and API's

- Business applications background, particularly financial systems

- Good understanding of project management, DevOps methodologies and change governance

Able to create complex DAX, measures and queries to provide efficient reporting and analytical insights
