ERP Support Analyst** Permanent ** Manchester
Our Client is looking for a capable Support desk analyst. from 1st-3rd line support. Must have experience with ERP system support. Happy to speak over the phone for more details.
Responsibilities
*To provide telephone and remote support to customers, from the office or from home as required.
*To manage & prioritise your own workload effectively, your support "queue".
*To construct professional, customer-facing walkthroughs for repetitive support tasks as and when required.
*To carry out thorough product testing on areas of new and existing products, including ERP product. This includes putting a test plan together and documenting all issues thoroughly.
*To provide internal training to colleagues on new areas of the internal Support Helpdesk system as they are introduced.
Essential:
*Proven record on an ERP Support Desk
*Experience of liaising with and supporting customers
*Self-motivated
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Professional attitude at all times
*Ability to understand and interpret customer requirements
*Attention to detail
*Excellent organisational skills
*A working understanding of key business processes within organisations
Desirable:
*Knowledge of SQL databases (to query and manipulate data)
*Competence with Crystal Reports and all Crystal Reports features
*Understanding of product testing, test plans and test documentation
*Understanding/knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint 2010
*Good understanding of Windows client and server operating systems
*Excellent communications with both stakeholders and senior management, including delivering hard messages
*Good commercial awareness
*Specialisation within specific area of ERP e.g. finance, distribution or manufacturing or proven industry experience
