Senior Project Manager (SC Cleared) - Software Delivery Reed Professional Services (RPS) has engaged with one of the key Central Government departments to work on a large and complex internal infrastructure project. In order to further compliment the team delivering these programmes, RPS have an exciting opportunity for Project Manager to join our team of experts based in Croydon to facilitate the successful PPM delivery and support. Who will you be working for? RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and Central Government. We keep the end goal firmly in mind and can scale as in line with customer needs. What will you be doing? You will be joining our RPS's delivery team as Project Manager. You will help our client across a broad cross section of programmes that are in need of support both to raise understanding of PPM, aiding in the delivery in a number of key changes that are due to be deployed within the organisations technical infrastructure. Within this role you will be required to engage with senior stakeholders and manage skilled teams in the strategic planning and delivery of key technological milestones throughout the development roadmap and further improve on the existing infrastructure. The team manages a range of technical deliverables including Private WAN, LAN (Fixed and Wireless), Data Centre and aaS - known as DMR's (Demand Management Requests) for works to be done for internal customers. For this role, we are looking for someone who can support the further development and improvement of the DMR platform - a Jira based (ticketing-style) system that handles all the project requests for the Infrastructure and Platforms programme.The Below details the core responsibilities necessary for this role:The ability to assess and strategically plan on technical deliverablesManage a team of highly skilled technical specialistsThe ability to develop a roadmap highlighting key milestones and cost-managed deliverablesDevelop and nurture stakeholder relationshipsAllocate work effectively and demonstrate governance to a high standardBelow highlights the required skill set needed for this role:Previous experience managing a large-scale infrastructure projectProven track record in the delivery of compact infrastructure projectsHigh understanding of security policy framework, project management and network engineeringPRINCE2 AND MSP or equivalent PM qualificationsGovernance, interpersonal skills and exceptional communication skills both oral and writtenSecurity clearanceDemonstrate acumen and risk management If this sounds like a challenge you are ready to be part of, we'd love to hear from you, so please apply below.
