Consultancy - £65K - 80% RemotePlaying a key role in our delivery team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting a
range of AWS solutions for our customers. This job requires travel to client sites and other company offices.Resopnsibilities:- Automated provisioning of infrastructure using CloudFormation templates
- Versioning and testing of cloud formation templates
- Build and deploy solutions encompassing technology, process and people for:
- Build and release management
- Infrastructure
- Networking
- Identity and Security
- Implement solutions. Be totally hands-on and able work independently, displaying initiative and judgement
- Ensure delivery of exceptional technical solutions, in line with project and design requirementsExperience:Essential: - Knowledge of microservice based architectures
- Experience working in a DevOps environment
- AWS SysOps Administrator Associate certification
- Designing and documenting operational guides and support processes
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed team
- Previous experience working in either a System Administration or 3rd line support capacity
- Strong understanding of core Amazon infrastructure and services, including CloudFormation, IAM, VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, Auto-scaling & Route53
- Working with AWS in a serverless context (e.g. use of AWS SAM, Serverless, CloudFormation, APIGateway, Cognito, Lambda, DynamoDB)
- Working with Windows Server and Linux, plus associated services (DNS/DHCP, Active Directory, etc)Desirable:
- Familiarity with software automation tools - Git, Jenkins, CodePipeline, Sonarqube
- Hands-on experience of working with container services - Docker, Kubernetes, ECS
- A good understanding of the AWS Well Architected Framework
- Knowledge of Amazon WorkSpaces
- Ability to present confidently in external group and client settings
- Knowledge & experience of agile methodologies
