Linux Systems Administrator / SRE (Python Golang Cloud AWS GCP Data). Are you a skilled Linux Systems Administrator seeking an opportunity to transition into an SRE position, work with the latest tech and make an impact? You could be joining a growing FinTech that are developing a complete retail banking platform that is capable of being configured to suit the needs of any bank.

As a Linux Systems Administrator you will support the engineering team in building highly fault tolerant and scalable applications. Day to day you'll be developing, supporting and monitoring production server and network environments by developing and deploying logging and monitoring tools (or adopting open source tools), as well as developing applications to improve code quality throughout the codebase using Python and Go to automate wherever possible.

Requirements:

Background in Linux administration with a strong desire to move into an SRE position

Strong coding skills with Python, Go and / or Java

Strong knowledge of Cloud platforms, AWS or GCP Google Cloud Platform preferred

Working knowledge of container orchestration tools e.g. Kubernetes

Familiar with Database administration, Kafka, observability tools (e.g. Prometheus or Zipkin), infrastructure automation

Collaborative with good communication skills, keen to learn and share knowledge
