Design engineer (subsea equipment)Aberdeen£50'000-£55'000 + Pension + holidayExcellent opportunity for a design engineer who has experience designing subsea equipment to join a leading business that will offer you a technical challenging and interesting role where you will lead your own projects.Based in Aberdeen this company specialise in the design and manufacture of subsea control equipment. 2020 is set to be an exciting year for the company as they look to increase headcount and invest into their technology.In this role you will work within a multi-discipline engineering team specialising in bespoke subsea control equipment for companies around the globe.The ideal candidate will be a mechanical design engineer with 2D and 3D CAD experience who has designed subsea control equipment or mechanical & hydraulic instrumentation control systems experience.This is a great role for a design engineer to join a business where your skills will be valued and utilise and where you will play a direct impact on this companies growth and development,.The role:*Mechanical design, analysis and calculations.*Conceptual and re-modification design of subsea equipment.*Assist new product development.*Lead projects. The person:*Mechanical design engineering background.*2D and 3D CAD experience.*Ideally hold an engineering qualification.*Have experience designing subsea equipment.
