QA tester is sought for a bespoke fintech client in Central Birmingham for an immediately available permanent role.Client DetailsThe client is an award winning Fintech business that have massively expanded their technology function in line with new wins.DescriptionThe role is to work in an existing team of testers to support their development team. This role requires partnership with external an internal stakeholders to ensure products conform to a high standard. This role therefore requires strong communication skills and a solid technical understanding. We require a candidate with a high degree of problem solving and someone who can work independently and as part of a team. ProfileSolid understanding of software quality assurance testing concepts, methods and practices in an information technology environment. Solid understanding of principles and practices associated with agile product model environment. Solid understanding of SQL and ability to use SQL tools to query a database to retrieve data. Experience with AS400, Windows, Web Applications and/or Web Service environments. Solid experience using JIRA or similar agile tools. Solid experience with multiple testing tools including: HP ALM, HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), HP LoadRunner, Selenium, and SOAP UI are preferred.
