The person appointed will be part of the Commercial Operations team and will be responsible for maximising the value from a portfolio of specific contracts from a cost, SLA, support and performance perspective.

Identify opportunities and deliver improvements across key commercial contracts to achieve a great service and maximise value delivered to business customers.

This role requires close liaison with the Finance, Procurement, Legal and Product Specific areas.

Drive the supplier relationship management project which will implement SRM to the business

Working within the procurement, financial and legal processes, develop, implement, operate and maintain specific business and operating procedures for effectively managing existing Key contracts and support the onboarding of new supplies and services.

Manage supplier service contracts to ensure continuous high levels of value and quality in service delivery and compliance with SLAs.

To be the owner of the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes, ensuring high levels of performance, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities when required

To manage the escalation process, ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review

To ensure that appropriate and up to date controls, processes, documentation and procedures are in place and followed.

To drive internal and third-party service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality and processes

To make recommendations for Service Improvement Plans and ensure actions are followed through to completion in a timely manner

Essential:

Demonstrable experience of strong contract, commercial, service and budget management within a complex multi-source service / supplier environment, including performance/SLA/KPI management, service specific contract drafting & negotiation skills/dispute management. Ability to analyse complex performance information & invoicing for all outsourced services. Excellent knowledge of working with and managing outsourced IT Service Providers.

Desirable:

Good understanding of public sector procurement processes in general. Strong understanding of the specific laws relating to Public sector procurement and managing public money.
