PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The Business Analyst & Developer possess technical and business expertise to achieve the goals and objectives for the Data Management Team and the organization as a whole. A successful candidate must have good banking business and technical knowledge in multiple core data management technologies along with strong planning and analytical skills. The candidate is able to perform and document business analysis and translate this into required developments.The candidate will also contribute to the Data Quality, and Master Data Management HUB data model expansion as needed within the Data Management Team. This includes supporting solutions and platform architecture design and maintenance through collaboration with other specialists such as the ETL Architect and external vendors to resolve complex data design issues; provide optimal solutions that meet business requirements and system provisioning. KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
Reviews and develops object, data models and the metadata repository to structure the data.
Translate business processes and requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data models.
Collaborate with teams and ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
Support improvements of performance and efficiency of Data Warehouses.
Responsible for setting up framework of standards, design and implementation processes.
Manage the administration, configuration and support of the Master Data Management.
Responsible for translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
Collaborate with end-users to create and implement operational improvement.
Communicate with vendor software support personnel to resolve issues encountered with software.
Create current and future state process flows and business improvements.
Manage objectives and deliverables in collaboration with internal users and departments.
Assures code quality and adherence to coding standards on projects.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field.
5-7 years of proven Business and Data analysis and development.
Technical skills:
VBA.
MS SQL Server.
