Summary:

Spring technology are currently recruiting for an experienced database administrator to join one of our clients, an established organisation; based out of their office in Guernsey. The position will see you working with a range of SQL databases within the company, with a focus on the development, management and support of their Data Warehouse and related system integration connections. You will be required to liaise with in-house technical teams and business users, as well as third party consultants.

Key responsibilities:

*General management and support of the Data Warehouse

*Perform Data quality assurance

*You will act as a technical liaison to ensure consistent standards across all databases

*Align the organisations data Warehouse future directions using the digital roadmap

*Data Analysis/MI

*Interface support and development

*Work with users across the business in relation to requirements

*Liaise with internal technical teams and external suppliers in support of business change projects

Requirements:

*3 Years technical experience using Windows Server

*3 Years experience of administering and managing SQL Server databases

* Familiarity with Networks

*Excellent communicator (written and verbally)

*Delivery and quality focused

*Ability to work within a flexible and fast paced team environment

*Problem Solving ability

Desirable:

*Microsoft Power BI

*Financial services/Insurance sector experience

*Knowledge and skillset in systems integration and interfaces

*Management information query building
