Application Engineer - VMware / Smart Assurance vacancy for a globally operating Bern based company in the telecommunications sector.Your experience/skills:5+ years' experience as an Application EngineerFamiliarity with EMC Smart Assurance and expertise with VMware is a mustTesting knowledge including integration- and user acceptance testingKnowhow in requirements analysis, solutions design and change managementLanguages: English, fluent in written and spokenYour tasks:Analysing problems and creating models for data, functions and objectsDefining of functional and non-functional system requirements as well as developing, implementing and maintaining applications, components, modules and interfacesEstablishing suitable methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software development and maintenanceCreating and updating documentation combined with setting up and maintaining the development and test environmentAssisting with implementation and testing of applications along with analysing and fixing software errors in productive applicationsDesigning and implementing software improvements in the life cycle of applications coupled with implementation of change requests Start: ASAP
