We're looking for someone with strong communication and management skills to help manage a variety of secure environments. If you've also got experience with IT infrastructures, applications and IT security policies then I want to speak to you!
The Role
You will act as a Gatekeeper, ensuring that the systems are built in the way that has been agreed, so will be responsible around governance, making sure people are doing what they need to be doing, so you'll need to be process driven.
So, you will need to be authorative, a great communicator, structured, and have the ability to manage people without having a team reporting directly to you.
There are 7 environments all with different requirements and different classification levels. As such you will need to hold a minimum of SC Clearance.
The Ideal candidate
Typically, the types of people that will fit into this role are people who have come from an Integration or Test background or could have even been doing technical project management role.
ESSENTIAL (TECHNICAL) SKILLS:
• Demonstrable experience in multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile, V-Model & Waterfall
• Demonstrable delivery of Environment Tracking and Change Control, Build and Configuration Baselines, backup, recovery and BCDR
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and DevOps
• Technical knowledge of secure IT infrastructures, applications and IT security policies and enforcement.
• Experience in supporting secure IT infrastructures
• Experience in incident resolution and / or system management of secure IT infrastructures
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Subversion
REQUIRED (SOFT) SKILLS:
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Demonstrable experience in owning issues and risks surrounding environment usage and planning
• Review and identify environments related risks and provide mitigation
• Knowledge of Configuration Management, Change Management and Release Management
• Excellent customer communication skills.
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
• Knowledge of Networking/LAN
• Knowledge of Application Development and Integration
