I'm currently seeking a talent Infrastructure Engineer for an initial 12 month contract based in the Sydney CBD for my client in Health Insurance.ResponsibilitiesWork with the professional services team to create detailed migration, decommissioning, testing and implementation plansAct as a trusted adviser for clients across Cisco UCS & ACI Servers, NetApp Storage, VmwareCreate and develop of low level designs around key technologies aligned to the projectPerform analysis on the data centre environment and work with the engineering team on key maintenance and optimisation activitiesWork with Infrastructure principals to review requirements and current state landscape to identify solution optionsDemonstrate an understanding of technology as it pertains to infrastructure and applications and be able to provide design recommendations, perform infrastructure upgrades, deploy new infrastructure solutions, and troubleshoot issuesCreate and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and executionQualificationsExpansive experience in the full life cycle of the systems engineering process, including requirements definition, specification construction, implementation, testing, system verification and validationHands-on familiarity in customer interaction, with strong capabilities in forming and implementing innovative and creative strategiesAdvanced knowledge of storage infrastructures including, but not limited to: EMC, NetAppAbility to create enterprise data center storage and work with deployments, and coordinate the development of storage strategies across multiple lines of businessExtensive knowledge and recent work experience in implementing and supporting enterprise storage and security related technologies and platformsWell versed with VMWare and Cisco UCS experienceIf this sounds like you, Please apply
