Information Governance Manager / Information Governance Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information Governance Manager to join a mid-sized non-profit organisation who have recently upgraded their IT services and seeking an Information Governance Manager to oversee their IG framework.
Day to day you will be dealing with Subject Access Requests, educating staff on IG issues and compliance, developing training sessions and assisting in the review of contracts and partnership arrangements.
Your role will be to promote the importance of Information Governance across the organisation and work with different areas of the business to create a culture of best practice ensuring they understand and are fully compliant with GDPR and other IG responsibilities. This is the perfect role for an Information Governance Officer looking at taking the next step in their career.
Skills required for the Information Governance Manager:Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to educate, influence and motivate staff.Proven experience in implementing information governance strategies and procedures.Extensive knowledge of GDPR, Data Protection and ideally ISO 27001Educated to degree level or proven professional experience.

Salary & Benefits: £37,500 - £40,000 + generous holiday + generous pension + flexible working
