Job DescriptionTechnical expert using data science technology to develop, test and deploy models to add business value in a project based environment, whilst collaborating with the Credit Risk, Financial Crime and Commercial department.Role & ResponsibilitiesModelling customer behaviour to drive profit which will inform business decisionsCommunicating with stakeholders to gather requirement of credit risk problems to translate to business solutions Training junior data scientists to up skill technology across the whole team, working together to deliver high-tech solutions Discussing complex analytical information to a non-technical audience and explain how it adds business valueSkills & QualificationsExperience of using predictive modelling to solve business problems, preferably within baking or credit riskUnderstanding of profit/loss drivers in banking and grasp of credit risk policiesSolid knowledge of OpenSource and Cloud for modelling, as well as basic SAS skillsAbility to communicate complex information to stakeholders which will add business valueBenefitsUp to 25% bonus dependent on individual and company performanceGenerous pension schemeDiscounts on multiple products and services across the whole brand
