Senior C++ Developer / Software Engineer (Computer Science Algorithm Data Structures). Global games software house is seeking a highly skilled Senior C++ Developer to join their team in Guildford.

As a Senior C++ Developer you will work across the full development lifecycle; liaising with product teams to identify and clarify requirements, create rapid prototypes or work on longer term projects. You'll focus on C++ development using Unreal Engine 4 to create Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality applications; you'll be crafting realistic and expressive characters, innovative game mechanics and smooth, responsive control systems.

You'll be based in a beautiful area of Surrey, close to a mainline station.

Requirements:

Strong C++ development experience

Collaborative with excellent communication skills; comfortable liaising across teams

Full lifecycle development experience with a good grounding in Computer Science fundamentals (e.g. OOP, Design Patterns, Algorithms, Data Structures)

Ideally you will have games development experience, a good working knowledge of Unreal Engine 4, Animation, VR / AR experience although this is not necessary as long as you have a passion for playing games and are eager to apply your C++ skills in the games arena

As a Senior C++ Developer you will earn a competitive salary (to £70k) plus benefits.
