Art Buyer - London - £250-£275 - 6 monthsArt Buyer - London - £250-£275 - 6 monthsThe work location is in Paddington, LONDON and is a 6 months contract.The pay rate on offer is between £250 - £275 per day.The role is working for a well-established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.The client's Food Art Buying team is a busy, creative team who are responsible for all food photography. They are looking for an Art Buyer who can specialise in food packaging and sit within the packaging team to help them manage and deliver many projects over a short space of time.Key accountabilities of the role include:Reading, understanding and interpreting creative briefsAsking relevant creative queries in advance of the eventManaging budgets, finances (raising POs, dealing with PO queries in a timely manner)Adhering to set processesWorking with internal production teams and external creative teamsAttending photoshoots where applicableManaging several projects at once, anything between 5-50 shoots at any one timeWriting shoot confirmations and updating shoot status chartsRequesting, checking and chasing samplesAnswering Art Directors queries promptlyChecking high res assets for file naming, adherence to brief, rejecting where necessaryArchiving assetsPurchasing stock imagesRaising Purchase Orders, checking invoices, adhering to rates, negotiating usage Key ExperienceWe are looking for a highly organised, extreme multi-tasker, with a passion for food photographyAble to function both creatively and as a co-ordinatorBackground in retail, advertising or marketingBasic experience in creative and project-based software (e.g. Photoshop, Excel).Good numeracy skills and able to manage budgetsConfident in your individual ability, but also able to take directionGreat communication skillsCan interpret briefs and are forward thinking enough to ask questions and plan for future projectsPersonable, positive and prepared
