Title: DevOps Specialist

Location: Leeds

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for my client within the Leeds area, you will be working closely with the platform architects, Senior Software Engineers and wider teams within the areas of Project Management, Insight & Strategy, Experience Design.

Some of your day to day responsibilities:

*Generating deployment strategies and automation tools

*Refining and Defining the companies DevOps process and best practices, leading your team about DevOps technologies

*Being heavily involved and leading within the pre-run tasks like development pipelines and automation, content migration and data integrations

*Improving the efficiency of the projects, using strong communication of core principles and processes

*Report and Monitor projects that are in the process of running

*Planning, running, utilising & maintaining DevOps practices

Candidates will need vast experience in Development and cloud this being AWS/GCP/Azure, other essential skills include:

*Vast experience with using Containers, Dockers and Kubernetes

*Cloud frameworks: Chef, Puppet, Ansible

*Agile, DevOps delivery methodologies

*CI/CD experience, product development lifecycles & cloud technologies

*Phython/Javascript/ELT/ETL scripts experience would be advantageous to this role
