About Us:

Westminster is dynamic, multicultural and unique and has continued to thrive, despite reductions in public sector funding.  One of the ways we achieve this is by constantly evolving -- using advances in information technology to drive quality, efficiency and innovation. We're setting the standard in strategic change to improve services to residents, businesses, visitors and partner organisations.

The Role:

You'll be vital to ensuring good governance and smooth operation of our diverse strategic change programmes. Working out of our Corporate Programme Management Office, you will update complex programme plans across interrelated projects and manage consistent programme documentation. You will also prepare management information by collecting and analysing key data from different workstreams and reviewing project status reports to identify emerging trends, acute issues and developing risks. A central point of communication, you'll uphold best practice in project management standards.

About You:

This is a fast-paced environment where good organisation is key.  You're someone who can create order out of chaos and keep track of evolving budgets, timelines, information and people. With a background in a PMO environment and experience of working on large-scale projects and programmes, you‘ll be proficient in using one or more formal project management methodologies.  Highly computer literate, you'll have advanced knowledge of MS Office suite and be capable of building and editing SharePoint sites.  Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills are also essential.

What We Offer:

At Westminster we want to make the most of your talents. We not only value your perspective and contribution, we'll help you develop and grow further. By being the best you can be, you'll contribute to making Westminster best place to live, visit and do business. As a progressive and innovative organisation, we welcome applications from candidates keen to work in an agile environment with flexible conditions.
