Excel Administrator - LONDON - £13 per hour - 3+ monthsExcel Administrator - LONDON - £13 per hour - 3+ monthsThe work location is in Paddington, LONDON and is a 3+ months contract.The pay rate on offer is £13 per hour.The role is working for a well established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.Supporting the Pricing & Promotions Manager your role will be to undertake commercial analysis and decision support for the business to implement an effective Price and Promotions strategy.Excellent Excel skills required. Key accountabilities Working closely with trading teams and external suppliers to maximise and improve the accuracy of our data and product matches to better reflect our true price position in the marketForming close working relationships with commercial teams to influence the development of a strategic approach to pricing and promotions in order to identify opportunities which improve our value positionProviding input and analysis to aid trading teams to make the most effective pricing and promotions decisionsSuccessfully carry out weekly data and reporting requirements whilst ensuring these are robust and built as efficiently as possibleMonthly delivery of information to support other Food categories understand their price position and promotional effectivenessProviding ad hoc analysis for commercial departments and other areas of the business Key skillsExcellent Excel skills essentialDesirable - analytical experience in a retail environmentExperience of managing a variety of stakeholders, developing robust data processes, eye for detail and ability to articulate findingsExcellent understanding and usage of relevant desktop packagesDesirable - Knowledge of SQL and one of the following; Python, R, SAS, Data visualisation software
