Information Security Specialist- Birmingham -Perm RoleNew and exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Information Security Specialist looking for the next stage in their career.Our client is an international organisation looking for an Information Security Specialist with a demonstrable interest in Information Security to join their already talented team based in Birmingham.Responsible for Guiding and supporting IT & business projects on information security matters, being a subject matter expert with a particular focus on cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.You will also build and monitor a program of access reviews, conduct regular independent critical control checks and conduct Information Security Policy maintenance. Regular security awareness will be part of your role and you will actively promote BCA's Information Security Standards across the Group and Information Security governance and processes. You will also carry out Information Security risk assessments and reporting and be a point of contact for Information Security matters, ,maintaining an awareness of current information security threats.. Required skills and experience:Excellent knowledge of Information SecurityGood experience with the security configurations and controls surrounding cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and AWSSecurity architectures.Ideally working knowledge of DevSecOps / Secure DevOps.Experience in conducting risk assessments. Working knowledge of ISO 27001 & ideally PCI-DSSSecure Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).OWASP Top 10 knowledge.DevSecOps/ Secure DevOpsPolicy writingExperience of information security awareness training. Personal Profile:The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in IT and or cyber security and have excellent interpersonal skills.
