Software Development Engineer in Test / SDET / Dev in TestLocation: Stockton-on-TeesSalary: £45K This organisation are looking to restructure the way their Testing function is set up and are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to come in and help bridge the gap between Development and Testing.A little about the roleYou will work collaboratively with the Development team in a Consultancy environment to understand how their product is developed and how it is viewed by their Global End User base from a functionality point of viewYou will work on their ongoing Software releases to understand any potential issues post Go Live to help their team become more proactive in their Testing solutions rather than reactive.You will be their sole body in a Testing capacity, therefore you will carry out ongoing coaching and advising on how best to Test and improve their overall SDLC moving forwardA little about youYou will be able to read and understand code (C#) and have extended experience working within the wider Microsoft Suite including Visual Studio, SQL and TFS.You will have carried out your own Unit Tests in previous positions as well as maybe having some hands on capability in implementing Automation frameworks further down the Testing line.
