Senior .Net Software Developer / Team Leader Derbyshire

C# /VB.NET / ASP.NET /SQL /Software House / Microsoft /Derbyshire

My client based in Hilton, Derbyshire are looking hire a Senior Software Developer /Team Leader to join their team. They are a market leading software house who are currently a Microsoft Silver partner and are looking to move to gold partner status in the next 12 months.

As a result of several new client wins they are looking to hire a senior developer / team leader to join their Team!

To be successful in this role you must have experience of building web applications in ASP.NET using either VB.Net or C#. The plan over the next 18 months is move to C#, however significant projects are currently written in VB.NET so the successful candidate will need to be happy to work in VB.NET.

Technical skills that are essential for this role include, but are not limited to:

?ASP.Net / Visual Studio

?JavaScript, jQuery

?WinForms

?T-SQL / SQL 2014,2016

?Problem solving

Any experience in the following technologies would be highly beneficial.

?Telerik / Scrum, Agile / Web API, Rest /GIT Source control / MVC / DevOps /CSS3 / HTML / HTML5 / SASS / Less

Working a n team this role will see you not only working as a Senior Developer but also working to mentor and develop more junior members of the team and leading by example is key to this role.

This role would suit an existing team leader or a senior developer who has been mentoring junior members informally but who wants to take the next step in their career.

In return for your skills they are offering a salary up to £50000 plus Microsoft Training , pension, healthcare, flexitime and annual leave.
