Senior Project Manager - 12 month Fixed Term ContractOur global client, who have experienced genuine growth in recent years, is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team based in London, on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. The Senior Project Manager will ideally have a finance background, with good understanding of financial reporting standards, extensive Lloyd's/London Insurance Market experience and in depth knowledge of IT Finance Systems Delivery.This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role.Senior Project Manager - Key Skills: Strong Project Management skills Finance background, with good understanding of financial reporting standards Extensive Lloyd's/London Insurance Market experience In depth knowledge of IT Finance Systems Delivery Excellent Communication & Stakeholder management skills to Board level Proficient with IT Office Productivity Tools (Spreadsheets, Word Processors Etc.) IT Degree or equivalent experience 10 years+ of managing projects in regulated financial services sector (insurance preferred) Experience of implementing finance systems, including General Ledger, from solution selection to deployment in a multi-national environmentSenior Project Manager - Responsibilities: Define the scope of the project in collaboration with stakeholders Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities Obtain required approvals to commence project Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion Manage the execution of the project and track progress to ensure successful delivery Maintain project records as required Prepare and submit project reports to stakeholders as required To maintain compliance with any applicable UK or International statutory or regulatory obligation as required by the role.This includes but not limited to obligations arising from:? The prudent management of the business.? Placing due regard on the interests of customers.? Observing rules on Sanctions and financial crime.?
