A leading energy trading company based in the city are hiring an Innovative Java Developer to build out new energy trading systems that will revolutionise the way renewable energy is provided. Using Java and Spring you will be expected to write well structured code and have an interest or prior experience of Blockchain and cryptography as part of the role is to develop transactional elements for the Blockchain platform.

You must have at least 5 years solid commercial experience using Java/Rx Java, amongst other languages in an Agile environment. You will also have experience with Cloud deployment, Docker, Kubernetes and Service Mesh/ISTIO. Together with strong Java skills you must also have used Microservices and built RESTful web services, Oracle, Postgres or MongoDB, together with CI/CD, automation code quality and mocking. Many of the employees have been educated at Oxbridge and also have a PhD therefore the minimum education required is a good degree in Maths, science or engineering.
