DevOps Engineer, London, Perm (£50k per annum)AWS, Docker, Ansible, ApacheMy client in London is currently looking for a DevOps engineer to join their cutting edge team in Stratford.You will be joining a small group of engineers, and will be key in the development functionality. You will also be involved in the architecture along with the tooling, as well as overall influencing the way the business progresses.Along with this you will be joining one of the leading companies responsible for sports betting applications, so your role will be to make sure everything they pride themselves on is working efficiently and effectively.What you'll be doing:Implement automation across the software delivery and maintenance process to minimise manual tasks.Support of Internal and customer facing Core platforms. The individual will be expected to provide L2/L3 support when necessary.Ensure service quality AWS via monitoring, alerting, self-healing and getting involved with incident & change management.Building continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to improve code quality, release frequency and availability, while supporting the existing SDLC.Work with the development team to ensure that new technologies, products and design patterns are reviewed and adopted where appropriate.Experience and skills:Experience with AWS development tools - EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloud FormationTerraform and DockerAnsible experienceProgramming skills through Java or PythonUnderstanding and preferred experience of Agile and DevOps methodologiesMy client is also offering a very competitive salary, a generous bonus plan, company health care, season ticket loans for travel and more.
