Reed Professional Services (RPS) has engaged with one of the key Central Government departments to work on a large and complex internal infrastructure project. In order to further compliment the team delivering these programmes, RPS have an exciting opportunity for Project Managers to join our team of experts based in Manchester to facilitate the successful PPM delivery and support.Who will you be working for?RPS provide project delivery and tailored PMO services, helping our customer's projects go from concept to completion. Our project delivery services are custom tailored to meet individual needs, whilst drawing on broad market experience and proven methodology from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and Central Government. We keep the end goal firmly in mind and can scale as in line with customer needs.What will you be doing?As a core member of RPS's Project delivery team, you will help our client across a broad cross section of programmes that are in need of support both to raise understanding of PPM, PMO and also to focus on the project delivery.Working with senior stakeholders and highly skilled engineering teams across a range of core infrastructure projects, the team manages a range of technical deliverables including Private WAN, LAN (Fixed and Wireless), Data Centre and aaS.Below are the key skills that we are looking for in this Project Manager;Experience: To be able to set up data centres from scratch, Experience with cloud hosting projects. Demonstrable success in similar roles particularly in large infrastructure within cloud environment (+1 M investment) with prior experience in working with Central Government Functions.Skills: You'll be an expert in the creation of detailed implementation plans to deliver new network and infrastructure services and produce project RAID - Risk, assumptions, issues and dependency logs. Has the ability to manage a team of engineers and architects to deliver the new services.Candidate must have the valid SC cleared.
