Infrastructure Engineer / DevOps Engineer (AWS Linux Networking IaC CI/CD Java). City based Investment Management firm with multi-billion dollars under management is seeking a technologist to take ownership of delivering automated solutions to problems throughout the software development lifecycle. The core technologies used by the team are Java, .Net Core and Python, increasingly deployed to AWS.

As an Infrastructure Engineer / DevOps you will manage Continuous Integration environments; tools such as Nexus, Jenkins and SonarQube; handle upgrades and plugins, control permissions; optimise builds and manage application and development environments across a variety of physical and cloud based environments. You'll work with Infrastructure and Development teams to promote the adoption of automation and help provide a streamlined set of tools and processes.

You'll be based in fantastic City offices with a professional and dynamic yet friendly environment.

Requirements:

Good knowledge of the latest DevOps tooling and practices

Strong knowledge of AWS

Experience with Java based applications

Containerisation experience, ideally using Docker or Kubernetes

Experience with automated software configuration using tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef

Experience with Continuous Integration tooling using Jenkins, maven, Nexus and SonarQube

Strong scripting skills

Good knowledge of automated testing
