This is an opportunity to join an independent software and technology consultancy who have clients in the public and private sector. They focus on understanding their client's business and work with them to deliver change that makes their business more effective.

They are able to support their clients with their strategy, technical design, user experience, software development and delivery into live service. Their multidisciplinary teams have the drive, talent and creativity to take strategies from inception all the way through to successful business adoption.

They are looking to add consultants to their engineering team to work initially with the team on developing and supporting several online Government services which have been developed in Python.

Responsible for developing features, fixing bugs, updating the application to comply with government standards.

Helping with their internal applications or other work when possible.

Working closely with clients to understand their needs and working with the team to whilst on client site.

Helping them to grow their software engineering practice.

Skills & Experience:

- At least 4 years commercial experience developing with Python Django

- Experience of TDD

- Deployed and supported applications into a live environment in AWS and/or Azure

- Team leadership experience

- Strong academic background

- Great written and verbal communication skills

- An understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile
