Lead Data Scientist - up to £70,000 - Edinburgh My client based in Edinburgh is looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join the Analytics division and, together with the rest of the Data Science team, create solutions for the business and their customers. You will get to work in one of the best organisations in Scotland and get exposure to great projects utilising the latest Cloud and Machine Learning technologies. As the use of Data is constantly expanding, the company is looking to bring in an experienced Senior Data Scientist who is passionate about constantly learning and thrive in a fast-paced environment.The role:You will be responsible for leading the development of predictive models and work alongside your team to create solutions which will benefit both the customers and the business. You will report to the Data Science Manager and be responsible for leading end to end designs of predictive models and act as a lead in your collaboration with the Analytics department and the wider business. The client is looking for someone with experience in predictive modelling, great communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and ideally a strong background in statistics/Data Science.

Skills we are looking for:

* Experience across Machine Learning, Cloud, Python/R and predictive models

* Experience dealing with stakeholders and excellent communication skills

* Experience of using predictive modelling and data science to create solutions and solve business problems

* Experience in financial services highly beneficial
