The office is growing rapidly with a current headcount of 24 engineers.Key Responsibilities:After an initial ramp-up period, the successful candidate will be responsible forBuilding high-performing Agile teamsBeing an Agile advocate and coach across the whole companyPromoting Agile values, principles and practices within the teamsCoaching, mentoring and empowering the teamWorking with the Product Owner to manage each team's backlog effectivelyMaximising trust and collaboration within the teamsOrganising and running the scrum ceremoniesOrganising the resolution of impediments within the teams and across the organisation, to optimize the teams' velocities.The Candidate:A graduate degree and a versatile and creative mind with excellent problem-solving abilityPrevious Scrum Master experience in one or more teams, along with a strong knowledge of scrum theory and practicesSelf-motivation, inventiveness, energy and self-disciplineExcellent communications skillsThe ability to work effectively in a team and mentor/educate other team members.Their scrum masters are often technical team members as well, so the following attributes are useful but not essential.Experience of all parts of the development processKnowledge of a variety of development tools and applications, from e.g. CI/CD with git at one end to gdb at the otherExpertise in object oriented and scripting languagesExperience working with very large codebases (multiple millions of lines of code) and complex systemsExperience of communications and telecoms software (particularly SIP, DIAMETER and DNS)The Package:They're incredibly proud of the company culture; a collaborative working environment where free and open dialog is welcomed and internal politics is avoided at all costs.
