Client DetailsLeading Global Financial Services Organisation building a Data Analytics Centre of ExcellenceDescriptionGlobal Financial Services organisation are looking for a Senior MS SQL BI / ETL Developer with experience in developing large-scale data and reporting solutions. Working with a cutting-edge cloud-hosted product on Microsoft Azure you will work with Actuaries, Data Architects and Business Analysts to: Build and test complex actuarial data processes and reporting solutions such as financial modelling and insurance product pricing. Review and understand design and implementation specifications Support debugging and production queries of data processes. Review and interpret on-going business design and implementation specifications Using business specifications, develop high-quality ETL and database solutions Analyse and optimise ETL scripts and SQL queries Provide production support in investigating data queries Key Skills High-level of technical knowledge, especially with SQL / SSIS programming / ETL processes Experience with tools such as: Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factories, Python etc. is preferred Experience in the finance industry within actuarial modelling and financial reporting products is highly desirable Excellent knowledge of Business Intelligence technologies. Microsoft Azure cloud-technologies. Data modelling (including optimal database solutions). Building financial data and reporting solutions. Managing multiple projects at any one time, with prioritisation of workload. Working on projects with multiple work-streams and multiple delivery phases.
