Desktop Support Analyst
Spring technology are currently working in partnership with a leading legal organisation to recruit a Desktop Support Analyst for their thriving team in Sheffield

As a Desktop support analyst you will provide vital support to members across the EMEA region delivering a high level of first and second line technical support and guidance. You will work in a close knit team environment liaising with internal teams aiming for first time fix resolutions
Key Responsibilities
*Act as an escalation point and provide technical support to customers, aiming for swift resolutions and repairs on hardware, software and systems
*Develop a strong understanding of the companies hardware and software configurations including software management and ITSM applications
*Monitor and update tickets ensuring SLA's are met in regards to issue response and resolution times
*Communicate complex technical information effectively to a non-technical audience
*Collaborate with internal teams and 3rd party vendors to ensure normal service is restored
You will need
*Previous experience within a professional services environment, ideally working on a busy service desk with use of a service management tool
*Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, MS Office and multiple web browsers (IE, Chrome etc.)
*Excellent experience performing installations, moves and changes to both software and hardware to end users equipment
*A passion for IT with a real desire to learn new systems and processes, a methodical approach to problem solving and the ability to multitask are essential
*Fluent communication skills both verbally and written to both technical and non-technical audiences
