Navision Support Engineer

£28,000 - £33,000 + perm benefits
A leading technology solution partner is currently recruiting for a 2nd Line Support Engineer who will join the Navision Support Team. The Successful candidate will be expected to work with all areas of the business that utilise Navision. The 2nd line support engineer will be expected to have prior experience in both ERP support and business processes.
Responsibilities
*Resolution of 2nd line technical and functional support requests
*Managing all support requests from start to finish ensuring that the end user is kept up to date with progress at all times
*Working with the Project Teams to develop new or upgraded systems
*Providing monthly statistical reporting information on support calls logged
*Trend analysis
*Ensure appropriate standards and procedures are adhered to during the development process
*System monitoring
*Reviewing of system bugs reported by user to establish if user error or system error
*Responsible for handling / reviewing new development requests
*Assist developers to interact with coworkers for additional information when required
*Responsible for handling system changes from scoping to testing to delivery
*Perform testing on developments unable to be tested by a coworker
*Assisting with performing testing on larger project changes
*Responsible for chasing outstanding development request with coworkers and developers
*Responsible for chasing outstanding testing with coworkers and providing assistance
*Reviewer / approver of change management developments prior to system uploads
*Responsible for communication to the business for large project implementation
*Performer of monthly, quarterly and yearly SOX Control for Navision IT Applications
*Navision Training
Knowledge and experience
*At least 1 year's experience of Dynamics NAV or ERP 2nd line support or NAV or ERP implementation
