WHO ARE WE?We're a small, fast-growing Software House with over a decade's experience specialising in PHP development. Now established as a market leader in our field, we are looking for an experienced Development Lead with knowledge of PHP 5/7+, Laravel/Symfony 4+/Zend and MySQL to build out and head up a new Agile team. At present, we have a piece of software, written in PHP, which hosts a large amount of data for our vast client base comprised of automotive organisations including car dealers, insurance brokers and more. We are now in a position to rewrite this, from the ground up, with a "technology first" mentality - and you will be the driving force behind it! WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?You will build out and head up a brand new Agile team in our Leeds office. Your first assignment will involve leading the development of a Greenfield automotive platform using PHP 5/7+, Laravel/Symfony 4+/Zend and MySQL among other technologies. You will ensure that coding principles are maintained and that all features are developed in adherence to deadlines. We endeavour to take a "technology first" approach, so you will have the chance to drive innovation throughout the company with new ideas i.e. implementing Cloud, JavaScript Libraries, Microservices and more. Our vision is that we will build numerous APIs and be able to integrate the platform with anything and anyone!
