Business Change Lead - 12 months - Harlow

Experienced hands-on Business Change Lead is required to work on a major IT Transformation Programme currently underway. This will be a complex and challenging role that will be central to ensuring that the people, process and IT elements of transformation come together in delivery.

The role is required to produce the change strategy and plan, and work with the programme, workstreams and business to deliver and embed it.

The successful candidate will be the critical link between the delivery workstreams and our business stakeholders and users.

Experience Required:

Essential:

- Demonstrable experience of successful business change planning and delivery

- Demonstrable experience of successful stakeholder engagement and supporting the transition from programme to sustainable BAU

- Strong leadership and proactive teambuilding skills with experience of working in multi-discipline teams.

- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of quickly building good relationships with peers and senior stakeholders.

- Exceptional verbal, written and presentational communication skills, with the ability to present concisely to Senior Management.

- Able to achieve consensus and traction quickly and in frequently high-tempo circumstances.

- Motivation, energy and drive, with an ability to adapt to the fast moving environment.

- Sound judgement skills, understanding when to own and brief and when to escalate

- Flexible approach to working additional hours and travelling as required.

- Eligible for or Holder of current SC security clearance

Desirable:

- Relevant qualification in a business change methodology

- Member of a relevant Business Change Professional institution

Key Responsibilities:

- Production of the IT transformation change strategy and plan, including definition of the target state & journey to reach it

- Management of workstream interactions with functions & end users - to ensure holistic approach taken

- Plan with workstreams what function, mission area and end user input is required & when for eg. testing, training, migration planning, prioritisation etc.
