They require a multi-disciplined Business Analyst, capable of identifying and efficiently conveying the customer's requirements through IT systems skills, communication and understanding.Role Description: As a Business Analyst, the role is key to maximising the value we deliver for our clients right from inception to benefit realisation.You must have a user centric vision applying it to an end to end view of the service function, can work multi-channel, have an incremental and agile approach and transformative in your results. You will be responsible for capturing emerging Business Requirements, enabling a clear picture of user needs to be document as part of a Scrum team working alongside service manager, user researcher, Business Analyst and programme stakeholders to understand the value as a result of user focused transformation. You are an experienced Business Analyst who will work with minimal support and can influence others. You will work as part of a team focused on user research and Service Design for a new Government service. As part of your role you will help set direction and embed good practice within teams.Essential requirements: Experience working on GOV.UK and with GDSYou have practical knowledge working in a GDS project, have been through GDS phases and met digital by default standards in your previous projectsExperience working in the public sectorExperienced writing themes, epics and user storiesAnalyse business requirements and user needs to agree detailed functional and technical specifications and plans, drawing on input from specialist colleagues within the programmeYou understand users and can identify who they are and what their needs are based on evidence.Proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to ensure that the team's plans and objectives are achievedGather and analyse data relating to the costs and benefitsProfile projections of volumes of users and transactionsYou have worked previously in an Agile delivery teamGreat collaborator and also able to work well independentlyAble to manage competing priorities in a tight timeline and very self-organisedExperience of delivering transformational changeSuitable candidates should submit their CV in the first instance.
